Soft + Charming Outdoor Wedding

Photography – Lisa Novak Photography

Just like in Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18, rough winds did shake the darling buds of May on Nevin and Kayla’s Spring wedding day. There was even a rain shower that lasted almost the entire day (that made for some beautiful photo ops though). However, neither of these weather imperfections held a candle to the overwhelming beauty of this day. The colour palette was soft and romantic; shades of navy blue, gold, and pops of blush complemented the reception space. The room was adorned with rosette table linens, gold chiavari chairs, sheer white ceiling draping, and a blush and cream floral arrangement created in a gold compote. Kayla wore a classic sweetheart cut gown, with her hair swept out of her face, and a permanent and infectious smile. She was simply breathtaking. Nevin’s face as she came down the aisle confirmed that he felt the same about his bride. He had stated that he knew he would marry the “girl from yoga” and on a foggy and magical day at The Dunes, he did. She was now his beautiful wife. Two people who continuously choose each other, each and every day, from this one forward. But first, they danced!
