Creating an Easter Celebration

Create an Easter Celebration using a Few of Our Favourite Tips

Easter is right around the corner and we want to share how we’ve created an Easter Celebration in a few simple steps! We love a good celebration to bring all your family together. Whether you are planning on an Easter brunch or an evening Easter dinner we want to share how to bring your table setting to life with a few Easter accent elements and some of our favourite Easter-themed treats.

Table Setting

Decorating for an Easter Celebration includes bright beautiful florals, and pops of pastels that are complemented by crisp white decor. Spring and Easter are both known for a beautiful pallet of pastel colours that bring life to every table setting. The perfect inspiration for your Easter table setting are florals as a centrepiece. The spring season is when flowers start to bloom, meaning you have tons of options for floral centerpieces. Make sure you stop in to see your local florist to see what is available and in season. Florals are a staple to transform your table and set the theme for the rest of your decor. Our floral arrangements are, of course, created by Brandy and are available to order through our website’s shop page!

For our Easter celebration, we chose to add a few tasteful hints to set the tone. Easter eggs are the perfect accent to tie together the theme of your Easter celebration. We used wooden eggs to compliment each table seat, a few naturally dyed, and colourful eggs throughout the table setting, and a bunny or two to add hints of tasteful Easter colours and fun. By creating your own Easter table setting, you can have fun with adding bits of pastel colour, play around with different elements and objects, and create a table setting perfectly decorated for your Easter gathering.

We chose a simple white clean plate and rattan charter with white and grey linen for each place setting. These on their own are gorgeous, but paired with the beautiful spring florals, they allow the blooms to take centre stage of the table decor. We wanted a clean and romantic look for our table, so we added clear glass bud vases for our smaller arrangements. As well, we chose small glass tea light holders to add a little extra shine to the table. Tall candlesticks with gold holders can also bring a touch of warmth to the table setting, creating an elegantly curated place setting.

Easter Treats

No celebration is completed without themed treats! We chose to create a simple and delicious Easter-themed charcuterie board. The best part about serving a charcuterie board is you can personalize it to your taste buds! We chose to include fresh fruits, crackers, pistachios, cured meats, a few sweet treats, and of course whole carrots for the little bunnies out there. Charcuterie boards are simple to throw together and can include a diverse range of snacks, guaranteed to satisfy all of your guests.

The best-themed treat of all might be our Cinnamon Bunny Buns. The recipe we used is a family recipe with a twist on the classic cinnamon bun. Brandy’s cousin Mary is credited with this incredible delicious and adorably fun recipe that the whole family will love. Download the Recipe Here.

We hope you have fun creating your own Easter celebration this year and be sure to share your Easter creations with us on any of our social media platforms!

Happy Easter!
